MCA Notification dt. 11/02/2022: Provisions of LLP Amendment Act 2021 notified on 13/08/2021, made applicable from 01/04/20222, i.e. commencement date for all the provisions of the said Act has been notified. LLP Amendment Act 2021 is meant to support the ‘ease of doing business’ initiative, by extending a helping hand for the Start-up India community, as the amendments provide for decriminalizing certain offences, introducing the concept of small LLPs, appointment of adjudicating officers/ special courts, etc. This will help the small business houses to do their business by incorporating LLPs without fear of prosecution, reduced compliances and their costs, etc.

MCA Notification dt. 11/02/2022: Government has directed that provisions of Sections 90, 164, 165, 167, 206(5), 207(3), 252 and 439 of CA 2013, shall apply to limited liability partnership (LLPs), w.e.f. 11/02/2022, except where the context otherwise requires, with the modifications specified in Column (3) of the Table given in the Notification, in terms of powers conferred u/s 67(1) of the LLP Act 2008.
