MoF, GOI Press Release dt. 30/12/2020: Govt. has further extended due dates for filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR), Tax Audit/ Transfer Pricing Report (TAR/ TPR) for FY 2019-20/ Ay 2020-21, Vivad Se Vishwas Scheme and Annual GST Return (FY 2019-20). Revised due dates for filing of Income Tax Return (ITR)/ Tax Audit Report (TAR) for FY 2019-20/ Ay 2020-21 are as under: (a) 15th January 2021 for filing of tax audit/ transfer pricing reports, (b) 15th February 2021 for ITR Filing (audit cases), and (c) 10th January 2021 for ITR Filing (non audit cases). It may be noted that Ministry of MSME has revised the definition of MSMEs and process of their registration, w.e.f. 01/07/2020. A new portal has also been launched for MSME/ Udyam registration (https://udyamregistration.gov.in), which is seamlessly integrated with CBDT/ GST/ GeM networks to make MSME registration a totally paperless exercise. |
