Haryana Govt Launches Free CA Certificates Scheme for Traders

The Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, has recently launched the Vyapari Kshatipurti Yojana, a scheme that provides free CA certificates to traders with an annual turnover of less than Rs. 20 lakhs. The initiative aims to ease the burden on small traders in obtaining a CA certificate, which is mandatory for GST registration.

As per news reports, the announcement was made during a program held at Haryana Niwas, Chandigarh in the presence of members of the Haryana Traders Welfare Board. The free CA certificate will be provided by government empanelled CAs, and the order will come into effect from April 1, 2023.

Additionally, the CM shared that the state government had previously launched the Mukhyamantri Vyapari Kshatipurti Yojana in 2019, which provides insurance benefits to traders with an annual turnover of up to Rs. 1.50 crore. This insurance coverage ranges from Rs. 5 to Rs. 20 lakhs and protects traders against losses due to fire, burglary, and natural calamities.

This initiative is part of the government’s larger efforts to support small traders and businesses and promote their growth. By reducing the financial burden on small traders and providing them with insurance coverage, the government aims to create a more inclusive and sustainable economy that benefits everyone.
