ICAI’s Post Budget 2017 Memoranda to Govt. with suggestions on amendments in Direct Tax Proposals (including international taxation) under the Finance Bill, 2017

The ICAI has submitted it’s Post Budget Memorandum 2017 to the MoF, with suggestions for certain amendments in the direct tax proposals (including on international taxation) as contained in the Finance Bill, 2017, as follows:

ICAI suggestions are balanced to not only meet the objectives and rationale of the Government but also to take care of the practical difficulties/ hardships faced by taxpayers and professionals in application of the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961. ICAI is hopeful of positive consideration on most of the concerns shared in such memoranda.

ICAI invites suggestions on Finance Bill, 2017/ Budget 2017 for submission in Post budget Memoranda

It may be noted that ICAI had invited suggestions, latest by 15 Feb. 2017, on the direct/ indirect tax proposals of the Finance Bill, 2017/ Budget 2017 for consideration/ inclusion in submission of the Post Budget Memoranda to Ministry of Finance.
