ICAI’s Revised Requirement for passing ISA Assessment Test (60% Marks)

Revised Requirements of 60% Marks (instead of 75%) for passing Information Systems Audit (ISA) Assessment Test of ICAI 

The ICAI has revised its existing requirements of securing minimum 75% of the scaled marks in aggregate for passing of Information Systems Audit (ISA) Assessment Test. As per Revised Requirements, a candidate is required to obtain only 60% marks in aggregate (June 2017 onwards).

Existing requirement:

“A candidate for the Information System Audit (Assessment Test) shall ordinarily be declared to have passed the Test if he/she secures a minimum of seventy five percent of the scaled marks in aggregate.”

Revised Requirement:

“A candidate for the Information System Audit (Assessment Test) shall ordinarily be declared to have passed the Test, if he/she secures, a minimum of sixty percent marks in aggregate”.

It may be noted that the revised requirement, as above, will be applicable from June 2017 onwards, i.e. when the next Information System Audit (Assessment Test) will be held.
