India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has launched WhatsApp Banking Services in partnership with Airtel, enabling IPPB customers to access banking services on their mobile phones. The service will enhance the Indian Government’s Digital India mission by providing banking services to citizens pan-India in their preferred language.
What are the features of IPPB WhatsApp Banking?
The newly launched IPPB WhatsApp Banking channel will enable customers to access banking services on their mobile phones. The customers can seamlessly connect with the bank on WhatsApp and avail a host of banking services such as:
i) Doorstep service requests;
ii) Locating the nearest Post Office; and much more.
The Airtel-IPPB WhatsApp Banking solution is also working on building multi-language support to offer added convenience to customers, especially those residing in rural areas.
