New e-filing portal should have been put to adequate testing before making it live. Taxpayers and Professionals are clueless as to how and when to file the ITR. New technology is supposed to assist/ aid the filing procedure instead of harrasing the stakeholders. Let’s hope that Income Tax Dept. will test functioning and compatibility of all the ITR Forms before asking Taxpayers to do the ‘hit and trial’ again.
It’s surprising that technical glitches are still continuing despite the 15/09/2021 deadline given by the Finance Minister. It seems that MoF has already visualised the state of Infosys working progress and has accordingly further extended the ITR filing due dates to keep the taxpayers and professionals in relax mode for a while.
