The Central Record Keeping Agencies (CRAs) of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) have joined forces with DigiLocker as partner organizations. This collaboration aims to provide subscriber-centric online services, as indicated in the PFRDA Circulars dated July 27, 2022 and October 19, 2022.
Downloading NPS Account Transaction Statement
PFRDA has announced that National Pension System (NPS) subscribers can now conveniently download their NPS Account Transaction Statement to their DigiLocker accounts. This feature allows easy access to view and track their pension wealth. The Statement of Transactions can be downloaded for both Tier I and Tier II accounts.

The CRAs have made the following services available for NPS subscribers through DigiLocker accounts:

i) Subscribers can view their e-PRAN card and Account Statement.
ii) Address updates can be made using the Driving License feature within DigiLocker.
iii) Prospective subscribers can open NPS accounts through Aadhaar-DigiLocker integration or via a Driving License.
2. KFin Technologies CRA (KCRA)
i) Subscribers can view their e-PRAN card and Account Statement.
ii) Address updates can be made using Aadhaar through DigiLocker.
iii) Prospective subscribers can open NPS accounts through Aadhaar-DigiLocker integration.
3. Computer Age Management Services CRA (CCRA)
i) Subscribers can view their e-PRAN card.
ii) Address updates can be made using Aadhaar through DigiLocker.
iii) Prospective subscribers of CCRA can open NPS accounts through Aadhaar-DigiLocker integration.
Accessing NPS Statement of Account through DigiLocker
To access the NPS Statement of Account via DigiLocker, follow this process:
i) Sign up for DigiLocker using your mobile number or Aadhaar number.
ii) Authenticate your mobile or Aadhaar number through a one-time password (OTP) for 2-Factor authentication.
iii) Set your security PIN.
iv) Once authenticated, your DigiLocker account will be created.
v) The issued documents in your DigiLocker account are e-documents directly obtained from the original data source, the CRA system being one of them.
vi) The “issued documents” section of DigiLocker contains links to access these documents.
vii) In DigiLocker, search for “PFRDA” and select the respective CRA.
viii) Enter your 12-digit Permanent Retirement Account Number (PRAN).
ix) Provide consent to DigiLocker to share your subscriber details with the CRA, enabling the fetching of your Statement of Account.
