On 3rd April, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) at 12 noon at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. During the celebrations, the Prime Minister will preside over an Investiture Ceremony for recipients of the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and the Gold Medal for Best Investigating Officers of the CBI. Inauguration of New CBI Office Complexes
As part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations, Prime Minister Modi will also inaugurate newly constructed office complexes for the CBI at Shillong, Pune, and Nagpur. Release of Commemorative Postage Stamp and Coin
To mark the CBI’s Diamond Jubilee year, the Prime Minister will release a special Postage Stamp and Commemorative Coin. These collectibles serve as a tribute to the hard work and dedication of the CBI officers and staff over the past six decades.
Launch of CBI’s Official Twitter Handle
