The Delhi Government last revised the minimum wages for various job categories on 22/10/2019. According to that notification, Dearness Allowance (DA) is calculated based on the average index numbers of the preceding six months (January to June and July to December) and is payable on 1st April and 1st October each year.
Now, the Delhi Government has recalculated the Dearness Allowance based on the average All India consumer Price Index Number for the period from July 2022 to December 2022, which resulted in an increase of 12.82 points (now at 378.576). This new Dearness Allowance will be applicable from 01.04.2023 for all job categories.
Revised minimum wages rates, as notified by the Delhi Government for the period 1st April 2023 to 30th September 2023, in respect of unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled, clerical and supervisory staff in various job categories are summarised in the following Table:

This will be CTC or Inhand wages ?
The above rates notified by Govt are Basic Minimum Wages. Other costs like PF/ ESI Contribution, Bonus/ Leave Encashment, etc. are to be added separately as may be applicable to arrive at CTC. Net Payout will be Basic Minimum Wages + Dearness/ Other Allowances Minus Employees share of PF/ ESI Contribution.
I am a graduate working as an accounts assistants. What is minimum wage applicable for my case?
I am working in autonomous govt. body as a contractual employee. Whether contractual employee are eligible or not for casual leave facility provided by govt. to them? Admin department told we come in contract labor abolition and regulation act 1970 rule 1971 & in this act there is no provision related to leaves type casual, maternity, medical etc.
