EPFO has introduced Composite PF Claim Forms (Aadhar/ Non-Aadhar), Pension Claim Form (Aadhaar) and Composite Claim Form (PF/ EPS/ EDLI) for Death cases. As a result, the Claim Forms No. 5IF, 10C, 10D, 19, 20 and 31 (including UAN Forms 19, 10C, 10D and 31) stands withdrawn. Further, now partial PF withdrawals shall be allowed based on Self Certification (instead of other documents/ certificates), using new Composite PF Claim Forms (Aadhar/ Non-Aadhar). Earlier, the EPFO had notified that the employees whose details like AADHAAR Number and Bank Account Number have been seeded in their Universal Account Number (UAN) and whose UAN have been activated, may submit their PF withdrawal claims in Form 19 UAN, 10C UAN and 31 UAN directly to the regional EPF Office even without attestation of their respective employers. Now the EPFO has dispensed with those forms.
EPF forms 19 UAN, 10C UAN and 31 UAN, kindly tell me how to send these filled forms by post or scan copy etc
There is no change in the process of submission of pf withdrawal application forms except that attestation by employer is not required in certain cases, as mentioned above. So the EPF Form 19 UAN, 10C UAN and 31 UAN may directly be sent by the PF Member, preferably by Regd. AD post, to the concerned Regional EPF Office. Also, you can follow up afterwards by sending scan copy in the email.
Please note that earlier also this option was there but due to a common or traditional practice, the Employers were submitting the PF withdrawal forms after their internal attestation procedures.
Is Form 31 UAN used only for Advance from PF balance ?
There is no change in the process of withdrawal / advance from PF balance except that attestation by employer is not required in certain cases. So the EPF Form 31 UAN can be sent to regional EPFO for advance against PF balance as per applicable existing eligibility norms. Only difference is that such application shall be in Form 31 UAN instead of Form 31 and also without attestation of employer.
Hi, Greetings! If I am having UAN and want to make partial withdrawal, do I need to fill up all 19 UAN, 10C UAN and 31 UAN forms or only 19 UAN, 10C UAN ?
Also my last employer made KYC based on my PAN. In that case, is it mandatory to have AADHAAR card? If so, can I upload the same in my account and then go for withdrawal without employer’s intervention?
For part withdrawals or advance, Form 31UAN is to be filled up if AADHAAR Number and Bank details have been seeded as KYC and have been duly verified by the employer using digital signature thereof and the details in form No. 11 (new) have already been submitted with regional EPFO. In your case, it seems the process is not yet complete. This process has to be completed by the employer only, including using digital signature, etc.
I worked in a company from 2002 to 2004 and did not withdraw or transfer that PF to any of my next employer companies. Can I now withdraw this money using the new UAN based forms as I have an active UAN and it is verified with AADHAR etc? Also, do we have any UAN based transfer form for above type of situation ?
It seems that your PF account relating to current employer is having active UAN and Aadhaar verification etc. as required for PF withdrawal without employer’s attestation as per new guidelines of EPFO. However, the PF balance lying in another/ old account has to be transferred first to your existing account for taking benefit of the new guidelines.
You can try using online transfer facility provided by the EPFO (subject to certain pre-conditions). Please note that your money is now lying in Unclaimed Deposit with no interest thereon. If still the problem persists then please visit the regional EPFO or take help from some nearby consultant.
After submitting the PF Withdrawal Form to PF office, generally how long it take to processes the application and to get the funds in Member’s account?
For partial withdrawal of PF under UAN, is Declaration form required as it was required earlier?
Please use EPF Form 31 UAN for partial withdrawal.
Mostly there is no change in the process of full or partial pf withdrawal except that now you can use UAN based PF forms, without employer’s attestation and subject to eligibility norms applicable for withdrawal and other conditions as stated above

Everyone is saying that “Now, employer signature is not required”!!!

Employer may not have marked your father’s name/ case as “exit”. You may request the employer to do so.

just modify your KYC details as per the Adhaar details and use the submit option. Now the matter will get pending with the Employer to process. Speak to your old employer to approve modified details.
