UDIN Directorate of ICAI has decided to archive UDINs after one year of their generation to ease off the load on the servers.
The archiving of UDINs has been implemented by ICAI with immediate effect. However, the implementation of archiving UDINs shall be completed by the ICAI in a phased manner beginning from the year 2019 in the first phase, followed with for the years 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
For accessing the archived UDINs on the portal, members have been advised by the ICAI to follow these steps:
i) Login under Member’s credentials
ii) Select ‘List UDIN’
iii) Opt ‘Document Generation Year’
iv) From the drop-down in the list, choose ‘UDIN Generation Year’
v) Click on ‘Filter & Sort’ button
