Private job portals partnering with the Ministry will share their vacancies on the NCS platform, allowing registered job seekers to apply for these positions seamlessly. The MOUs were signed in the presence of key officials, including Shri Amit Nirmal, Deputy Director General (Employment), Smt Arti Ahuja, Secretary Ministry of Labour and Employment, and Shri Ramesh Krishnamurthi, Additional Secretary (Labour and Employment).

The MOUs were signed with well-known organizations and platforms such as TeamLease HRtech (Freshersworld), Monster.com India Pvt Ltd (foundit), QUESS CORP Limited, Delivery Track (VSS Tech), KARPAGA Assessment APP MATRIX Services Private Limited (HireMee), QUIKR INDIA Private Limited, TCS iON, and Firstjob.co.in. This collaboration will increase the employment opportunities for over 30 lakh eShram registered workers in the unorganized sector who have joined NCS.

Additionally, the Ministry signed an MOU with TCS iON to offer free online soft skill employability training in both English and Hindi for job seekers registered on the NCS portal. This training has proven to improve job seekers’ employability skills and, ultimately, the quality of the workforce once selected.

Another MOU was signed with KARPAGA Assessment APP MATRIX Services Private Limited (HireMee) to provide job seekers with a free self-assessment tool for evaluating their job suitability through aptitude tests. This feature will also benefit employers by allowing them to view test scores and conduct initial candidate screenings, thus saving time in the selection process.

Smt Arti Ahuja, Secretary of Labour and Employment, emphasized the importance of such partnerships for the country’s job seekers. The NCS portal was also praised by participants of the G20 Employment Working Group. She expressed her desire for further collaboration with government and private organizations, ultimately benefiting both job seekers and employers.

On September 12, 2023, the Ministry also held a meeting with representatives from placement organizations, employers, and private job portals. Chaired by Shri Ramesh Krishnamurthi, the meeting aimed to discuss aspects related to improving and strengthening the partnership with the NCS portal. Participants provided suggestions regarding the challenges and issues employers face during the recruitment process and discussed proposals for upgrading the NCS portal.
